We Provide & What to Bring

We use top-of-the line gear that’s been chosen with great care. Not just for superior quality & comfort, but also for cleanliness & durability through the wear and tear of a kayaking season.

We provide

Streamlined Nooki paddle jackets and NRS life vests are ultimate for sea paddling.  We looove our Hilleberg tents (and you will too). Exped inflatable mattresses and Haglöfs sleeping bags makes for comfy sleeping.

Gas fuelled Trangia cookers are a Swedish favourite for wild meals. We pack very diverse cooking gear, so you can really go all out if you choose. Our mylar-lined NRS cooler bags keep your food cold for days and are designed for maintaining cleanliness between use. Klean Kanteen drinking bottles and canteens ensure safe water hygiene.

For paddling:

What to bring

You get to repack all your personal items into dry bags at our launch, and we store your luggage and anything else you don’t wish to bring with kayaking safely at our base. We bring your luggage to your end point on your last day.  

For paddling:

  • Short or long-sleeved top
  • Shorts or quick-dry trousers that you can roll up (you need to step into the water to get in and out)
  • Neoprene shoes or strap-on sandals (the rocks are slippery when getting in and out)
  • Sun cap, sun screen and sun glasses

For land:

  • Trousers and long-sleeved tops
  • Shorts and t-shirts
  • Warm sweater
  • Jacket (we provide a water repellent paddle jacket, but a light jacket can be nice)
  • Waterproof trousers (not necessary, but in case of rain)
  • Swim suit & towel
  • Toiletries
  • Power bank for your phone
  • Book

In May, June or September:

  • Beanie & gloves
  • Long Johns
  • Light down jacket instead of light jacket
