There’s a tempo to enjoying nature, and that sure ain’t rushed. The more days you have, the better! A maze of six thousand islands is your playground to explore, always a route that's never been paddled before. Leisurely soaking it all in, or covering vast distances – it's completely up to you to make your adventure into whatever you want it to be.

You’ll probably head northeast first, towards the clusters of islets south of Aspöja, arguably one of the most stunning sunset settings of the area. Continue through the outer archipelago – an expansive chain of countless islets and tiny skerries stretches southwards. Reach the famous navigation mark Kupa Klint with spectacular views of the archipelago.

Harstena village is renowned for its picturesque and historic beauty. Take a couple of hours to stroll the gravel roads and visit the museum, bakery and restaurant. Southwest, you’ll find the traditional homestead at Håskö where you can enjoy a wood-fired sauna by the sea. Further south still, there’s the abandoned copper mine, Gubbö lookout and Häradsskär lighthouse at the edge of the world.

You’ll barely see another soul. Look down at the forests of bladder wrack on the bottom of the sea. Glide past colorful patches of sea aster, wild chives and valerian along the rocky shores. And the birds, always moving in the corner of your eye. Majestic White-tailed Eagles and Ospreys. Grey Herons. Great Cormorants. Waders. All kinds of ducks and gulls.

Pitch your tent on the smooth rocks or among the trees. You have everything you need and all the time in the world to cook delicious food. No one around, you can even take a dip in your birthday suit if you like! Just relax into the night, Mama Nature’s wonderful show is on. A lukewarm beer never tasted so good.
