Getting to Sweden with less CO2
Once you set off on your kayaking adventure, your carbon imprint is exceptionally low. Getting to Sweden is a whooole other story though!
Few of us have days to spend on taking several trains to our destination, or can sail like Greta Thunberg – the badass Swedish climate warrior who’s going across the globe throwing zingers and hard facts at men in power.
So what can you do?
Support for locally led development
In 2019 Do the North was granted project support by the Swedish Board of Agriculture for the development of our website, new products and other information materials. The “Kustlandet” project support is part of an EU funded initiative to stimulate business in rural areas along the coast. As of March 24th 2020 we have concluded the project and achieved the following:
