- 6 tblsp butter
- 3 tblsp sugar
- 2 tin pear halves
- 8 pieces after eight
- 3 tblsp minthu, rum or cognac (not available on food order, can be exluded)
- Melt butter and sugar in a frying pan until caramelised. Add per halves, flat side down, cover for a couple of mins. Remove lid.
- Add booze, light up the pan and shake the pan until the flame goes out. Be careful when it flames up!! This step can be excluded.
- Place pear halves in bowls, add a piece of after eight on each and top with sauce that’s left in the pan.
