Many countries in Europe are planning to open up for travelling again by mid-June! Be aware that right now most countries still have strict rules in regard to travel and the info below is simply to assist in planning your holiday when your country deems it safe to travel for leisure.
The authorities in Belgium have as of June 3rd confirmed that the borders will reopen:
“From 15 June, it will again be possible to travel abroad to countries within the Schengen zone, although this will still depend on the rules in the country of destination.” —The Brussels Times
The authorities in Germany are planning to go ahead with reopening borders on June 15th, but haven’t quite confirmed the terms as of June 3rd:
“The countries for which the travel warning is set to be lifted include Germany’s 26 partner countries in the European Union and Iceland, Norway, Switzerland and Liechtenstein. For these countries, from June 15th onwards, there will only be individual travel advice, in which country-specific risks and information will be pointed out.” — The Local de
The authorities in Switzerland changed their initial plans of reopening for most countries in July 6 to June 15th!!
“Due to the current epidemiological situation, the current entry restrictions can also be lifted for other EU/EFTA countries and for the United Kingdom from June 15,” the Federal Department of Justice and Police said in a statement after a government meeting on Friday. — Swissinfo.ch

Many cities in Germany to Stockholm Arlanda (Lufthansa) Operating now Direct train 2 hours to Norrköping.
Amsterdam to Linköping City Airport (KLM) 1st available flight July 4th Take a 10 min taxi ride to the train station in Linköping and then a 25 min train to Norrköping. Note! Sweden is not included in the countries permitted for leisure travel that will go into effect on June 15th.
United Kingdom
London Stansted to Stockholm Skavsta(Ryanair) 1st available flight July 2nd Bus transfer 55 mins to Norrköping
Many cities in the UK to Stockholm Arlanda (British Airways) 1st available flight July 1st Direct train 2 hours to Norrköping.
Note that the UK, as opposed to many other European countries, does not have any immediate plans to reopen for leisure travel without strict quarantine measures upon returning home. Although there are flights available, for the forseeable future they are for essential travel and may very well be cancelled. Check the FCO website for updates.
